The Miracle of Love is the fruit of a seven-year journey — through self-exploration, spiritual searching, cocooning, and the slow rebirth of a new mindset and way of living. Along the way I found teachers: Ram Dass, the Catholic mystic Richard Rohr, several Buddhist meditation teachers, therapist Terrence Real, and the conscious, searching conversations I've shared at my interfaith church. Each one, in their own language, offered me their perspectives on self love and unity. The visual language of this series draws from the protest posters of the 1960s and '70s — bold calls for peace, pacifism, equality, and environmental action that spoke plainly and urgently to a generation who believed change was possible and worth fighting for. That same spirit runs through this work, translated for the questions I'm still living inside. These posters are reflections of my hardest lessons — the ones that keep circling back to self-love, and to the difficult idea of becoming one with everything and everyone. The peace we long for on the largest scale stops being an idealistic fantasy the moment we begin the reflective, quieter journey inward. It becomes something attainable. I hope these meditations and this artwork are companions on your own journey — wherever you find yourself on it.
